Text Messages From Heaven

Published by grandy at 1:00 am under Huh? Edit This

The Grandy family is big on text messaging.  Hubby is often on the road, and sometimes I need to just get him a reminder because he might be sleeping early in the evening and I don’t want to wake him.  Or our son will send a text message when he gets home from school, in case I’m in a meeting.

Other than that, we also use the text messaging for just plain fun.  We chat with eachother, and with friends.  It sometimes saves time, and minutes on the talk plan.  Technology is a good thing for Grandy when it comes to text messaging.

Some of the things Hubby sends to his friends though, or gets from his friends, UGH!  Let me just say that one day his friend sent me a picture message (it was sort of animated) that involved Casper the “extra”-friendly ghost, while I was in a meeting and it somehow went off as if I was viewing it, and I didn’t mean to.  Did I mention there was sound attached?

Ewww.

I don’t know where some of these text message things come from.  I’m not even sure how they get on phones.

Well, today I witnessed what happens when you combine one of those supersticious emails (You must forward this on in 10 seconds or risk losing ALL YOUR MONEY) and the text message.  It said:
cell-phone.jpg

1 Kings 8:23:  A blessing is coming to you in the form of money.  Don’t ask questions just forward to eight people and trust GOD.

To which I simply replied with:

When did GOD start sending text messages?  Not everyone gets that plan.

Wonder if I will get my money now?
